One Last Hurrah! WFA Farewell Open House on December 29th

Stop by Horseneck Point Lifesaving Station on Saturday, Dec. 29th from 3 to 5 pm for the chance to say THANKS to Cap’n Jack and the rest of the crew for 35 years of dedication to the Westport River. The Westport Fishermen’s Association is merging with the Buzzards Bay Coalition in 2019. So while our independent run is over, the advocacy work will continue. And fear not – the annual Westport Fishermen’s oyster stew supper will still be held in February and the clambake in September.

So to close out this chapter of the WFA, stop by to say hello one more time. We’ll have the fire going, some refreshments and plenty of time to trade stories and reminisce about the WFA. The Open House will be in the visitor center at Horseneck Point Lifesaving Station, 241 East Beach Rd., Westport, MA.

No need to RSVP, just drop in. We’d love to see you.
