2018 Annual Clambake WRAP-UP

It was a glorious Sunday in September when over 185 guests made their way to the WFA’s 35th annual clambake. Preparations had been underway for days before, including the traditional harvesting of the rock weed  from Laura gathering rockweed

Westport Harbor  on Saturday afternoon. Then on Sunday morning early the clams, lobsters, and assorted other bake foods were packaged up in the steaming crates and the fire was lit as lucky ticket holders made their way to the Little Compton Game club. People had fun catching up with WFA members and friends, followed by a delicious meal and fabulous pick-a-prize raffle.  There’s Cukie in his trademark suspenders!
